Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information FlickDisc handles when you play. The short version: your game progress stays on your device, ads in the free game are served by Google AdMob, and purchases are processed by Apple. There are no accounts and the game has no analytics of its own.

Data we collect

FlickDisc itself does not collect personal data. Your progress, coins, unlocked discs, purchases, and settings are stored only on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google needs to serve ads and what Apple processes for purchases and Game Center, both described below.

Motion data

Motion data from your swings is processed on your device in real time to fly the disc. It is never stored and never transmitted anywhere.

Advertising

The free game shows ads served by Google AdMob, a third party advertising service. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information from your device, including your IP address, a rough location estimated from that IP address, your device’s advertising identifier, information about the ads you have seen and tapped, and diagnostic data such as crash and performance logs. You can read how Google handles this in Google’s privacy policy and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Personalized ads and your choices

On iOS, Google can only use your advertising identifier to personalize ads if you allow it in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you still see ads, just not personalized ones. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app also asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can withdraw tracking permission at any time on your iPhone under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking, and manage Google’s ad personalization at My Ad Center.

In-app purchases

FlickDisc offers optional one-time purchases: unlock all levels, fast forward, and remove ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple account under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We never see your name, address, or payment details. The app only learns which purchases you own so it can unlock them.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it beyond the services named in this policy: Google for advertising, and Apple for purchases and Game Center.

Data retention

Everything the game saves lives in local storage on your iPhone, and deleting the app deletes all of it. Your purchase history is kept by Apple with your Apple account. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained as described in Google’s privacy policy.

Children

FlickDisc is made for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game has no chat and no user content. Ads are served by Google under the rules described above.

Third party services

If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your identity and your leaderboard entries under Apple’s own privacy policy. FlickDisc submits only your best fewest-throw scores, and only while you are signed in. Game Center is optional and never required to play.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. FlickDisc keeps your game data only on your device, so you can erase it by deleting the app. For data tied to advertising, use the choices above or Google’s own controls. For purchase and Game Center data, use your Apple account. You can also email us with any privacy question or request.
