About these terms

These terms cover your use of the FlickDisc app and this website. They are deliberately short, because the game is simple: no accounts, no subscriptions, and no user content. The free game is supported by ads, and a few optional one-time purchases are described below.

Accepting the terms

By downloading or playing FlickDisc you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

Using the app

FlickDisc is played by physically swinging your phone. Keep a firm grip, use a wrist strap if you have one, and make sure there is clear space around you before every throw. Use the app for personal entertainment and nothing unlawful.

Play at your own risk

It is your responsibility to hold on to your phone tightly during every swing. If your phone slips out of your hand, gets dropped, hits something, or is damaged in any other way while playing, that is on you, not on us. The same goes for anything or anyone your phone hits. Check your grip and your surroundings before every throw.

Intellectual property

FlickDisc, including its code, artwork, level design, and name, belongs to its developer. You get a personal, non-transferable license to play. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its assets.

Purchases

The free game includes the first stage of every world. Optional one-time in-app purchases unlock all remaining levels, add fast forward, or remove ads. There are no subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple account, and Apple’s App Store terms apply to every transaction. Purchases are tied to the Apple account that bought them; if you reinstall the app or switch to a new iPhone, use the restore purchases option in the game to get them back at no extra cost. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one through your Apple account, and Apple decides whether to grant it.

Advertising

The free game shows ads served by third party ad networks. Advertisers are responsible for their own content, and an ad appearing in FlickDisc does not mean we endorse it. The remove ads purchase turns ads off in the game. How ad networks handle data is covered in our privacy policy.

Coins and virtual items

Coins and discs are earned by playing, exist only inside the game, and have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for real money.

Disclaimer

FlickDisc is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the app will always be available, bug free, or compatible with every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of FlickDisc. That expressly includes damage to your phone from dropping it, losing your grip mid swing, or any other accident while playing, as well as damage or injury to your surroundings or other people. Playing safely is your responsibility.

Termination

You can stop using FlickDisc at any time by deleting the app. We may update or discontinue the app or these terms; a new version of the terms applies from the moment it is published on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
